Mavin Records/ Roc Nation singer, Tiwa Savage has made her debut feature on Apple Music’s Beats 1 Radio, hosted by Hot 97’s radio presenter, Ebro. In the interview, the multi-talented artiste and mother proudly stated that she is Africa’s most popular female artiste.

Tiwa used the radio show as an opportunity to share her African pop music with a large number of American listeners. She however corrected show host, Ebro when he described her as the ‘most popular artiste on the continent of Africa ‘ quickly adding, “Popular female” as she set the record straight while noting, “ This sounds like I’m cocky. ”

However, Ebro noted that she works hard, hence is deserving of that massive crown. “Definitely. I work hard ,” Ms Savage agreed.

Ebro said Beats 1 Radio is bringing her to the world and would be promoting her records. “That’s what we are trying to do here,” Ebro said, adding, “We are trying to bring artistes to the world .”

“I feel like a superstar, ” an elated Tiwa gushed.
