Akpororo Issues Heartfelt Apology To Kate Henshaw

Comedian Akpororo has publicly apologised for publicising star actress, Kate Henshaw as the host for his forthcoming comedy show, ‘Akpororo vs Akpororo’.

The actress took to social media yesterday to slam the comedian and organizers of the event for brandishing her name on publicity materials without first contacting her.

Akpororo, in a bid to quell the storm that had started to brew, quickly tendered an apology on Instagram labelling it one big misunderstanding.

The comedian and Airtel ambassador explained that he had indeed he discussed with the actress earlier but things were yet to be finalised before the publicity materials went public.

Here is what he wrote:

Good evening ma@k8henshaw Before anything else just want to say am very sorry ma for the misunderstanding, so sorry for not following up after our last conversation about my show (Akpororo vs Akpororo which is taking place at eko hotel and suites July 8th) when you were out of the country the other day, I will never disrespect you or even take you for granted for any reason, I respect you so much ma, please pardon me ma. Thanks and GOD bless you ma .
