Samson Siasia’s Kidnapped Mother Released

Nigeria’s Under 23 coach, Samson Siasia’s mother who was kidnapped over two weeks ago has been rescued.

Although, there are no details yet if a ransom was paid but according to sports radio, Brilla FM, the police confirmed she was rescued and Samson told the station,“Thank God! she’s back home.”

Only just yesterday, Siasia lamented that the search for his 72 year old mother by the Nigerian police was taking too long and he hoped his mother had not been killed by her abductors.
He also said her kidnap was distracting him from his coaching duties.
