After Daughter’s Demise, Remi Surutu Launches Her Music Career

Less than a month after losing her daughter, Nollywood actress, Remi Surutu has launched a music career in addition to acting.

The actress revealed this in an interview with Asabe Africa TV, stating that this is also coming on as a shock to her as music something she thought she has already left since the only time she practised was as a teenager in church.

According to the actress, it was surprising how she just told her producer one morning to create beats for her. Although the producer thought she was joking as he had never seen her sing until she started and he was blown away by her talent.

Sending a copy of her work to her brother, the brother was too surprised at what his sister can create and because he didn’t want to lose such talent to someone else, he decided to sign her and invest all in her to make sure her music goes as far as it should.

The actress also revealed that she does not want people to start thinking she’s copying other people in the industry who are already singing and actors.
