EARLY LIFE AND CAREER

Bukola Awoyemi was born in the year 1988. The Kwara born actress started her career as an undergraduate of University of Ilorin Nigeria.

Bukola has featured in movies such as Poisonous affairs and Arugba produced by Tunde Kelani. Her big break came after her lead role in Arugba.

When she started off her career as an actress, she lost some roles because she refused to sleep with certain producers.

She combined acting with schooling till she became a graduate of performing Arts at the University Of Ilorin.

PERSONAL LIFE 

Bukola Awoyemi is fondly called Arugba by her fans. In 2014, there was a rumour about the actress having an affair with Damola Olatunji who just got married at that time. However, the duo denied the rumour, but they were forced to open up when Bukola’s pregnancy became evident.

The couple who met each other on a movie set in 2013,  welcomed a set of twins in 2015.

Bukola and Damola’s families have done a closed door introduction to legalize the union.
