UEL: Rio Ferdinand predicts winner of Arsenal vs Villarreal, names club to win trophy

Rio Ferdinand has predicted the winner of this season’s Europa League competition.

Rio Ferdinand also predicted the winner of the games between Manchester United and AS Roma, Arsenal against Villarreal.

In Thursday’s semi-finals, Arsenal face LaLiga side Villarreal, while Manchester United tackle Roma.

Arsenal’s last shot at securing Champions League football next season rests on them winning this year’s Europa League.

But the Gunners head into Thursday’s semi-final first leg on the back of two poor Premier League performances at home to Fulham and Everton.

And Ferdinand feels Villarreal will beat Arsenal, while United will defeat Roma and will go on to clinch the trophy.

“I think Arsenal go out, man,” he added. “United win the Europa League, I’m saying it here now,” the former Manchester United defender told Rio Ferdinand Presents FIVE YouTube channel.
