Ade Bantu Believes ‘Afro Beats’ Is The Most Insulting Term Ever

Adegoke Odukoya, better known as Adé Bantu is a Nigerian-German musician, producer and social activist who is the creator of Afropolitan Vibes a live music concert.

During the Nigerian Entertainment Conference today, The creator of music Festival, Afropolitan Vibes opened up on his thoughts on Nigerian pop music.

He said;

“I think ‘Afrobeats’ is the most insulting terminology ever invented. Nigerian pop music is not Afrobeats.
