Earlier in the week news broke of the engagement of the Vice President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo’s daughter to Oluseun Bakare, the son of Hajia Bola Shagaya’s son.

News reports also surfaced that Damilola’s husband-to-be was a Muslim, but the vice president is putting rest to the questions and rumours.

The Senior Special Assistant to the VP on Media & Pubicity, Laolu Akande cleared up the rumors via his Twitter account.

He said that the fiance Olusegun Bakare is a member of the RCCG Abuja Central Parish and even a Teenagers Pastor there.
