Mercy Johnson’s Husband, Prince Odi Okojie Dumps PDP

Mercy Johnson’s husband, Prince Odi Okojie who joined politics late 2015, and ran for Deputy governor of Edo state in January 2016 under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), has dumped the party.

On January 25th 2016, Mercy Johnson’s husband announced that he would be would be vying for the position of deputy governor of Edo state under the platform of the People Democratic Party. Prince Odi Okojie, however, did not state which political party he would be moving to.

He shared an official letter announcing his resignation on Instagram. According to reports, many believed his resignation was caused by the party’s instability in Edo state.
