Adekunle Gold Postpones Debut Album Release

YBNL alternative singer, Adekunle Gold has decided to postpone his debut album release. He cited the forth-coming Ramadan fasting period as the reason for the delay.

Adekunle Gold won the hearts of many with chart topping hits like Sade, Orente and Pick Up revealed in a Now O’ Clock podcast with show host, Wole, that it made more sense to him to release the album when his Muslim fans are at liberty to do so.

He said, “I am pushing it forward a bit because of Ramadan. It was supposed to drop for June 1 before, but apparently it occurred to me that my muslim friends don’t listen to music during Ramadan, so it makes sense to push it forward because of them as well. So by God’s grace in July after Ramadan, and all of us can enjoy it together,”

According to the crooner who has an affinity for African print wears, the album is ‘80% done’. He however did not let any names of guest appearances on the album slip.
